Yeah, but we are all going to die if this gets out of hand. More evil crimes will happen. It will destroy the Earth's health. And possible cuase destruction of all life on Earth itself.

Main reason of crime is greed and need.If you have more efficient technology,you can supply a life of quality with a restriction on human population more easily.If you have higher
cpu power,you can make better simulations and feed the greed of the larger portions of the population.

In the end,you will have a better chance of dealing with need and greed.

Though, there'll be a little chaotic time before reaching this level.And It can,well,be the end of humanity.In the end nothing but dead could kill human curiosity.

I think that when AI is invented and i mean an AI with wants and feelings, then i doubt it will invent anything possibly harmful to itself, that meaning more smarter and efficient AI. Because i don't see any reason for the AI to give up his "life" for someone else. I guess that it will just improve itself and humans if possible.

Humans will never allow a created species like AI to become greater then themself.
AI will try to survive no matter what.
AI will destroy mankind.

Technological Singularity is a myth created by the Internet Generation.
It will never happen... nothing can improve itself endless in no time.

Incidentally, a runaway singularity like your speaking of does not happen in an instant, it just happens at an exponential pace due to it's very nature of self-modification allowing infinite improvement.

When computers start to make and improve themselves, would that be a form of non-organic life?

Anyway, when our civilizations reach the singularity, I think it would be wise for people to integrate nanomachines into our bodies. Our genes will be analyzed by computers and modified according to our requests. Immortality can be achieved through monitoring of cell production and maintenance. Education and learning can be downloaded directly into our minds.

Best of all, the threats of zombies and machines taking over can be smeared out of our imaginations, provided that proper handling of technology is used.

Sure, but if you can hack a computer, you can surely do the same with the humen brain..I dont like the idea of loggin on internet with my brain, or gettin education downloaded into my brain..what if a world wide virus got loose..end of mankind..
