Irrefutable proof that being gay is wrong!


01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

0 Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to freedom from a king, cars, the service-sector economy, the internet or longer life spans.

right, the world is over populated. and its good that gays cannot produce children. but would you want your children (if you had some and you died acciedently) to be risen by a gay couple?

i dont mind people beliveing in god, beeing gay or voting for george bush but giving a child that still has to learn things to people who talk puffy, wear periwigs and roleplay as mother and father is sick.

this kid wont have a chance to survive school if anyone finds out about that.

If you had read a little further you might have noticed that this exact argument was adressed in the OP. To quote:

I don't see you demanding that single parents shouldn't be able to raise children. Actually I haven't seen one anti-gay marriage advocate demand that either. Why the hypocrisy?

I don't know how many gay people you've met, but the majority of them don't talk puffy or wear periwigs. It almost appears as if you don't know what you're talking about and instead believe in a stereotype.

well some freinds took me to the christophers street day and i saw many of those "stereotypes" (ok maybe they were just playing cuz it was a festival).

well anyways i dont care about their lifestyle. live and let live.

the reason why i never would give a child to a gay couple is that society does not accept it. of cause its not their fault, but that doesnt change the fact that the life of this kid would be very very hard.
