Thread: Hygiene

Ok so here it is. At my job, I meet a ton of people from all over the globe. What has been bugging me is lately, is hygiene. Most Americans and Asian are fine. However, the Europeans, they smell (not all, but a lot). Since this is a international website. Maybe, someone can give me some insight on this. Why the bo?

I heard somewhere that in Europe that musky sweat smell that you get after a while is attractive... who knows. I ran out of toothpaste so I haven't brushed my teeth in an effective way in three days... running outta Listerine... +_+

^Ew. I heard something like that in one of the AP movies (a reliable source ), but I didn't believe it.

Henchy-Are the people you meet just generally unhygienic or just have bad B.O?

It's half and half. If your feet smell, it's bad hygiene. I mean these people look clean, but smell so bad.

Wow, thats pretty disgusting. And there's probably nothing you can do about it without offending someone...I guess its one of those cultural things.

It strikes me as weird,because I go to London all of the time. At Boots, they have soap and old spice. Keep in mind, it's never the brits who smell bad. Usually, it's those from the Easten block or Holland.

I think you are just xenophobic, with the exception of some of the Balkan states, I don't think Europeans smell any worse than an American. Way to generalise and stereotype and entire continent, go back to your guns and MacDonalds.

Russia isn't part of Europe. Ukraine is the debate state.
