Also, from your original post, I can only assume that you are not doing anything to get yourself out of your "depression" and are instead continuing to take the pills, which makes you part of the problem, so tell me, who's the sheep?

You talk about the action of taking tablets not getting to the root of the problem, my question is: what have YOU done to get to the root of YOUR problem (because it is your problem and you are the only one who can sort it out)? My point is its useless to talk about society trying to hide the problem by giving people drugs, if those people take them willingly. More to the point, relying on the state/health sevice/psychiatrist/someone else to take the burden of your depression when its not really something they can solve for you, is only compounding the problem.

So in sumary, the problem is not society trying to sweep something under the rug by loading people up with meds, the problem is people who are dependent on someone else and don't want to help themselves.
is not as easy as you say... sometimes is not totaly your foult, society is pretty fucked... you are forced to work in small pieces of shit with hardly any human contact, that alone can force a state of deprecion.

Is very easy to lose your way in this times, specialy in some countries, the best you can do is use your free time to be around the people you love (or to find some loved ones) going back to the nature is also a good way of renew your broken spirit.

and always remenber to never give up, don't be a coward and do something about it, as long you don't buy a gun and start to shot co-workers, bosses or fellow class mates.

No. ??? Tell yourself how much richer you'll be in later life. (might not work as well when you aren't still in education)
    No. ???+1 Buy a pet.
No. ???+2 If you're a depressed, selfish person, become nice and generous; if you're a depressed, nice and generous person, become selfish.

    my vocabulary has doubled!

I rarely use those words. I rather use simple words cause when I try to use words that people doesn't hear or they haven't heard before. I spend more time explaining what I'm trying to say rather than saying it. >_<

rdrr an all that! Just wanted to say hello from ban land and apologise for the way this thread got misconstrued (in other words; the purpose of said thread)! I'm a bit embarrased at how "98Abaile" got me so ticked that I had to reply like that.

Also... I SPECIFICALLY said "i'm not a kid...... to get the EMO shit outta the way", So where'd the whole kid aspect of this come from. This thing is the same if you're a pissant teenager or an adult... Ya' still gotta deal.

Again, apologise for starting argument; You guys wanna do any more than discuss dictionary preferences, be my guest.
