I was looking at the water container and trying to figure out how much it might hold...maybe 5 gallons? If so, 1 gallon of water would equal roughly 8 lbs, and as the container approaches being full it would be like carrying around a 40 lb sack of concrete mix off one shoulder.

Is that the drawback to this idea, or is there something else that makes this less than practical?

so many things are impractical. Too heavy or too bulky to hold for majority of those items.

Not quite. One cubic foot of water weighs 64 lbs. That looks to be roughly that size.... so yeah. Still damn heavy but to put it in perspective, that 64 lbs is about the weight of your average 5th grader's backpack

maybe if there's a filtration device hooked up to the tube, might actually not be a bad idea when going camping or something. and a switch that flips the umbrella right-side up when you've filled up enough

Which would explain why I see more kids today than in the past using roll around backpacks with Yu-Gi-Oh, Hello Kitty, or something else on them. Adults though are kinds stuck with plain looking rolling luggage or carts to carry their books, laptop, files, and other stuff around.

That hay fever hat looks kind of useful. xD I know it's big and bulky and weird-looking, but I HATE having to carry a tissue box around with me in school. And then people keep asking you for it, and you accidentally leave it behind and it gets stolen...
