You don't have to vivisect to study how the brain works. You can use one of those fancy machines that shows the electric currents within the brain.

No, but you would vivisect to do a proper endocrine analysis, last time I checked(could be wrong). My point being, I am fine with experimenting on prisoners, they gave up their rights when they broke the law, but I am leery of unrestricted medical testing. The last thing we need is another Mengele.

Naturally there needs to be oversight and restrictions. We wouldn't do this to punish anyone, but in order to understand and prevent future crimes.

And I don't get why people bring up Mengele. It's not as if the US is Nazi Germany.
