^See, I don't even agree with that. Call me cold-hearted, but people who put themselves into the service pretty much become the dogs of war. Once they are signed up, they can't turn back if they are called to fight, even if they disagree with the particular war they are going to fight in.

While many soldiers manage to do their jobs with conduct and bravery, there are also many who shame our country's image by torturing natives, etc etc. Even if this particular video is not legitimate(I think its a fake too), there is no doubt that there has been similar injustices done by real soldiers.

Oh, and I don't buy the CIA bit either. This video reeks of fakeness. If the guy was legitimate, why would he post a video about it after all the media scandals in the USA? He might be retarded, but that takes it to a whole different level.

He did not generalise, mate, or at least, I think he didn't. The title may be misleading, but I do not think that the idea was to say that every single soldier was a sick bastard. I wouldn't know if what the guy in the video said is true or not, but that wouldn't be the only report on abuse from soldiers (not only American soldiers) towards civilians, there have been others in the past. All the same, this is nothing new.

I have to agree with Jakko (gasp). I do not think the guy in the video is in the SF. Most likely some guy who failed to get in because of the psyc test. A wanna be.

Most of our men and woman in the armed services are good people trying to the right thing in a country that doesn't want us there in the first place. This "Person" should be hung. All he does is make us as a country look bad. Maybe we would try him for treason.

That's a pretty difficult charge to convict anyone of in the US:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Anyone know what the second paragraph is saying by the way? Best as I can figure, it means that all punishments (and they can be anything) are to be applied to the traitor during that person's life, and there are to be no punishments carrying on to the next generation.

You do know people did get tortured by these good people who are trying to do the right thing right?
