I remember Elton John sang "Candle in the Wind" at the funeral.

I saw a glimpse of it. It was the 10year celebration thingy, right?

Elton John was singing. He got a lot fatter...

Also, those babies/childhood pictures of Diana were mad weird. Like REALLY weird.

Its the 21st century... why are there still kings and queens, princes and princesses of anything.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

I cared. Oh wait, no I didn't. I still don't. People talk about how great she was with all her charity work. They were like 'OMFG SHE HUGGED A BLACK AFRICAN KID WITH AIDS AND SHE'S A ROYAL!!! SHE'S JUST LIKE US!!!! A COMMONER!!! A PRINCESS OF THE PEOPLE!!!' Except no, she was an aristocrat. With good publicity.

Don't misunderstand me; I don't dislike Diana and her work was commendable. It's her fanclub I dislike.

And I watched a little of it.

^I am guessing he was being sarcastic if not -_- lol.

Yeah I always wondered why they over did her noble image. Ehh you can never have the perfect candidate for anything.

@SD I don't really know. I just guess that is how it is in some other countries.

yeah me too. I only found out later who she was. I just remember people saying the queen of heart or princess dye. I'm not that curious about news back then. :P

I watched some of the concert, twas alright.

When she died my mum made us sit and watch most of the funeral which was aired on tv... I was really young and it bored me to death, the only part that intrested me was when Elton John sang "Candle in the wind" because I love that song... even however many years ago it was.
