the first 2 layers are easy to solve, the last one is a bit tricky.....but there's lots of help on the net....

First time ive ever seen/heard someone use the word thwart...

It took me like three says to do it(two of those says were spent on one square)

Using algorithms is no fun :/

One should try and understand the underlying concept of rotations in a 3-d space around another axi.

I solved some star wars I got for a shitty present...then I threw it into a wall and it broke.

Never solved a conventional one though. Well, never played with a conventional one.

I tried it when I was around 9 or 10. I got annoyed at it so I started peeling off the colored stickers and place them all together in one side. a few days later the stickers fell off. =_

+1, i never saw the interest of learning by heart some algorithms just so i could say "i can solve a rubix cube !"

So, huh, i never solved one nor really tried as i didn't want to spend a lot of time to master these concepts :P

the way i solved it was that i broke it and fixed it back together. i really don't have the patience or attention span to solve a rubix cube.
