    Default wikipedia syndrome....anyone have it?

You know, like when you're reading an article of interest and then you know how there's words that are underlined and in blue so that when you click it you are directed to another article or subarticle?

because of that, i end up spending countless hours on wikipedia just reading all kinds of things lol.

    anyone addicted? heh..

I would hardly call that a syndrome, most people click those links to get a bettetr understanding of the topic they are studying.

^well sometimes those links branch out.

like you'll be reading up on one thing and then suddenly you find yourself in a whole new subject.

    it's pretty cool.

in any case, though, maybe i should have reworded it to addiction instead of syndrome

yah, sometimes it's pretty interesting to find out things from wiki, even though some of it could be false.

I go to wiki first to get a general understanding of something and then use more reliable sources for answers/quotes.

Same as CPR but I take things with a very large grain of salt. It vexes me that I don't actually know how much of it is actually true. At least most major topics are heavily moderated.

same with the above. usually i look unto it for books to inspire some topics for a report, then go to my local library to get more specific.

I can't use wikipedia as a reference because it's not "reliable" seeing how people are able to edit the article. So, I just go to the links posted. I have the urge to click on the links too..
