alcohol a hard drug? whatever your smoking. please put it down.
alcohol isn't as addictive, dangerous and as effective than a drug.

why is that? I know: alcohol + kids = trouble.
thats why they have: alcohol + kids + adult supervision = kid with a hangover

So, even though I personally don't like alcohol, I find that the age restrictions are pointless and that they don’t prevent underage drinking, in some ways it incites it. Making drinking underage more exciting and that by drinking you are breaking the law. And kids get high on that fact that they are doing something that they shouldn’t be or that it is illegal to do for them, but that they see their parents do in public safely and with out fear. And I think fundamentally in the states here is wear the drinking problem arises, especially with kids who have just turned 18 because you have a group of people who are now able to vote and fight in wars, but they don’t share the same governmental rights as their parents because they aren’t old enough? But the government says you are an adult but you still can’t do certain adult things. It’s kinda like why do I get the responsibility with out getting any of the perks of the responsibility.

ps. weed and pot are the same thing.

Thus proving that you have no idea what you're talking about. Weed and pot are the same thing.

And argue your own case, don't use Wikipedia to make your arguments for you.

    read and learn: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_and_soft_drugs
"The term hard drug generally refers to drugs illegal for nonmedical use that lead to profound and severe addiction"
as I said, it is not comparable to heroin/morphine/etc. as you won't get a strong addiction to alcohol unless you drink a awful LOT of it, and for an awful LONG time.

Btw, 1 or 2 dose of alcohol each day is good for the health and create no addiction at all... not too bad for a hard drug, huh ?

btw number 2, weed is a soft drug...

Lol...Look at what Wikipedia says in that same article
Examples of hard drugs include heroin, morphine, cocaine, methamphetamine, alcohol, and nicotine (tobacco).

Red wine is considered to be good for your health and fruit drinks that have a bit alcohol in them too because that boots the healthfulness of the fruit.

Im thinking that the parents shouldn't have bought enough alcohol for kids to get drunk. Enough for them to say... HEY COOOOLL WERE DRINKING BEEERRR and maybe get buzzed and nothing else. About 3 cans (yes, not bottles) of low % beer per estimated guest. Then if they ran out, they'd just say there was none left and have to drink something else. TADAAA!!
