No one cares about the stupid age limit. LiLo has been drinking publicly for like a decade. <_<

Personally I'm closely related to several very annoying drunks so my opinion of alcohol is very low. I've tried very hard to get drunk to see why people love doing it so much but no matter how much alcohol I consume, I've yet to succeed before I get bored/tired and go to sleep. I don't think alcohol will be a very important factor in my life.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

2.5 YEARS?? 30 cops with search dogs? For giving out a couple of beers during a party to guys old enough to drive? Just plain CRAZY. That "Mayflower" thing should have drowned in the ocean...))))

I had my first taste of alcohol before I even reached the age of 10 and I still haven't experience being drunk. I could never like the stuff.
On that night in 2003 Elisa knew that she was breaking the law but since she was doing so at home, she did not think that anybody would know - or care, for that matter.
she did at her home and she didn't tell anyone else. How did the cops knew?

I wouldn't support her nor should I resent her. She knew she was doing something wrong but she had everything under control.

Well Snake, the boys did run into a damn forest. It's like the cops knew what their reactions were going to be and came prepared.

While I agree with Jakko and Steal, they should've just let her off with a caution or just jailed her for 30 days, like her husband rather than waste 2.5 years of her life, and taxpayers' money there. Hell, Community service would've been better. The punishment doesn't fit the crime here.

I feel bad for the woman, but she's a complete moron. Serving beer to 16 year olds that aren't your children is a recipe for disaster.

Nonetheless, the USA's alcohol laws are absurd. The drinking age should be dropped to 18, at least. It's not like it stops teenagers from drinking...just look at practically any party teenagers throw.

That's a little bit exaggerated, because the age when you are allowed to drink is 16 here. So all the bars serve beer to them (to 15-year olds too, like me) But it's alright, I guess. I think 15-16 years old are allowed to drink beer and other stuff too. A friend of mine (16) also drinks liquor with his mom... why not? I think they aren't doing anything wrong, it is under supervision after all.

you're all talking about the drinking age, but you shouldn't forget the fact that alcohol is a hard drugs. And actually even more addicting and worse for the health than weed or other drugs of that kind, while those kinds of drugs are considered taboo

only a few are addicted enough to alcohol for it to become a drug, while millions of people drink several glasses of wine/beer each day without addiction... so, no, i don't think we can label it as a HARD drug. (=> you won't become addicted with just some drinks, unlike every hard drugs which create an addiction since the very firsts takings)

Let me amend that. It's a recipe for disaster in America.

You do not know what you are talking about. Alcohol is not a hard drug, and don't try to tell me that it's more addicting and worse for your health than heroin or crack.
