its not that i dont respect your opinion, i just dont want to hear it!
shautieh, get to work ;D
what says the article?
I can't read french, but I can guess what it says since I read an article in the german media about it. Some authorities in Poland wanted to forbid the Teletubbies, because they thought that the purple one was gay, now someone proved somehow that they aren't gay, so Teletubbies won't get forbidden.
it would be a pain to translate everything, but in short the polish mediator for children rights wanted to ban the teletubbies from TV because she thought Tinky Winky was used to promote homosexuality (being purple and with a girlish bag), and thus she asked for a psychological evaluation to be sure that no inappropriate attitudes were being promoted.
Her interview about it was heavily criticized, in Poland as well as other countries (there was a BBC article about it a week ago, cf http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6698753.stm), and she has recently declared that the show won't be banned as an important sexologist has convinced her that this show don't have any bad effects on children psyches (in other words, she found a way to close this bad affair decently).
Jeeze, This is old hat. The moment I saw
I knew it was about Tinky winky.pour enfants Teletubbies fasse de la promotion voilée pour l'homosexualité
Thanks shautieh, I always thought Tinky Winky was supposed to be gay O_o ...

Sadly, all British TV seems to be getting gayer or more effeminate. Its not suprising that the BBC is sometimes nick named the British Bummers Club or the British Buggery Club. British TV also just plain sucks these days. Both are reasons why I don't watch TV anymore (I haven't watched TV once in 4 months now).
Oh ok, so thats the teletubbie they're talking about, yeah I had no idea what teletubbie they wre talking about.
Reminds me of Jakko when he wants to try to dress up to spice the night.
