I'd grow up to be a bully, and probably die after getting cocky and trying to take down a mugger who is armed with a gun.

At first I thought he'd die before reaching 10 from his condition, but no. There's no trade off. No known negative effects. God damn it.

but that also makes me think...i really do wonder if there is a drawback to this condition...hmm...also a bunch of other questions too.

There is a drawback. There's a chance that he becomes mentally impaired because of lack of body fat, due to his hypermetabolism.

But frankly, that kid could grow up to be awesome...
