1)We're the ones to blame aren't we
2)We are also at blame here
3)Yes, only when those "others" are people like you and not people like me O_o
4)Yes, I like using the excuse of "Do you know who I am?" when being in the laws grasp. The answer are all so different yet rewarding.

Damn it sucks to be normal doesn't it?

    1. Considering how much money is earned from theatre ticket sales, dvd sales, first run cable and later broadcast licensing deals, not to mention the money from foreign distribution...I don't think the pay star actors get is out of line.

    2. Some don't deserve their fame, usually because it has little to do with their skill as an actor and is instead a reflection on the worst aspects of their private life.

3&4. They aren't better than anyone else. In most cases, they were once someone who was working a normal job and not making a lot of money at it either. Then they started a career in acting. As their fame and fortune increases some let the "star treatment" go to their heads an they forget where they came from and come to expect preferential treatment regardless of where they are. On a movie set, or when the police pull them over for speeding or drunk driving. They may deserve special treatment where they work, but when out in public as a regular citizen they don't deserve to be treated any better or worse than anyone else.

    1) Yup. It's part of their "job".

    2) Sure. People are interested in their lives, so it's natural that they're famous.

    3) Everyone is equal. Some are just more equal than others.

    4) See number three.

Tom Hanks deserves every penny and every ounce of fame. He's really amazing and really doesn't have any downsides.

Tom Hanks doesn't get DWI's and still drives around.
