But damn weird and fucked up at the same time.

Stanford needs a better website. The page won't load.

But from what I could glean from the Stanford Daily homepage, it would seem like our little friend here could not get into Stanford and thus had to "pretend" to in order to make herself feel better.

What she did, it's almost like the plot for a bad reality tv series.

simply amazing. That's some serious tactical espionage action. somebody should offer her a job in that line of work.
I hope this doesn't completely mess up her life forever.

Maybe her overbearing parents will realize the kind of pressure they exerted on her and will be the cause of less craziness in the future instead of more.

There is no entrance exam for Stanford. It's cumulative accolades throughout your previous academic career.
