I can dunk anything up to a 9ft hoop, still only touching a 10 ft regulation hoop though. Still, I don't think thats too bad for 5'10.

I'm 5'8" and can hang on a 10' rim, but I can't quite dunk on it.

I can dunk on a playschool hoop, but you gotta make sure not to hang for too long before it breaks.

    I'm 10'9", so, yes, I can dunk.

    By reaching forwards.

    And then I fart.

Ohh amazing, some people here can. I probably can touch the rim and I'm about 5'9 or 6'0. I reckon that's pretty shit for my height. For those who can do it though (dunk a ball on a basketball hoop, not oreo!) what did you do to dunk?, how did you improve your vertical?

I could dunk the ball when I played High School basketball, but then I switched to football and put on extra weight. That killed the the idea of me doing dunk shots again.

As for improving your vertical jump, we had a machines in the gym to help. One was a squat press (going from standing to squatting position and then back up again with a weight load resting on your shoulders), and I think the other was for standing calf raises (feet standing on step, weight load on your shoulders, and then you go up on tip-toe and then back down).

Jumping up and down stairs help your vertical as well.

As of now, my vertical is about 23"
