I am absolutely astonished to see how much japs cannot live without their mobile phones and was wondering if the ST population was this dependent with cellphones too ..?

GHAD I HATE MY PHONE RIGHT NOW! Well not the phone, but the battery to be more exact...P.O.S battery...and i dont wanna cough up like $30 to buy a new battery...freaking ghey.

but as for me, i voted i would feel a little uneasy, due to the fact that emergencies can happen pretty often in my family.

To stick to the topic, I will say that my phone is quite important but I am very happy whenever I forget it. It's a Nokia N91. Go figure why. =p

Any suggestions for a new mobile?
I'm nabbing one when I go to HK in less than a month.

I find Sony Ericssons to be excellent, couldn't be happier with my W850i (pretty expensive though...)

If you want a decent phone that is small, cheap and reliable, look for the K300i, it did me well for a long time.

Good idea, there are cheap cell phones there and really fancy too, I saw one that my friend used, quite small like this one.http://www.itechnews.net/2006/09/24/...-mobile-phone/

I forgot what was the score, I wasn't the highest in the class, so many people freaking good at this game, I think I almost covered the screen with the snake though.

Cell phones are nice and convienent when it's you calling out. The inbound calls can be annoying though, and if your employer supplies you with a phone and expects you to then be on call 24/7...if they abuse that access it can feel like they've put a dog leash on you so you are never truly off work.

Personal phone is an old no frills Nokia. Work supplies me with a Blackberry, and if I leave town on business or vacation they have me take along a company POS laptop with a Verizon wireless card.

Add keys to that list and i`m the same man. Just feels weird going out without those items. Even if i jump down to the store a bit.
