Yeah, but the thing is: he doesn't only steal the ideas: he steals the whole image and mostly recolors it.

I think it goes beyond a lack of ideas, and he's lacking in artistic talent as well. If he had any skill at drawing he wouldn't need to resort to tracing...he could steal only the idea or joke behind someone elses cartoon and then apply it to new situations and characters in his own artistic style.

Well, from what the article said, he has people that give him artwork, or submit it, and he adapts it. Lazy, not artistic at all, but it could be an innocent case of him not knowing that other people are plagiarizing the stuff.


On the other hand, he could just be outright plagiarizing, and using that as an excuse. Scum. Besides, they suck anyway.

You're a graphical artist. He's an artist(note the italics). Completely different breed from you, he is an artiste artist(and a post modern one at that, blegh). That's like comparing corn growers with potato and tuber specialists. Ha! Imagine...
