... Everyone wants more money... not just Americans. And this is taking a leap of faith, considering how the manga community is everyone whos ever read a manga will denounce this as bullshit its not like doing this is guaranteeing profits for her and her company =\

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

You know, you are an American, too.

Besides, she is Canadian. Blame the greedy Canadians, fool.

They should package the individual volumes with an explosive device of some sort, such that if you open it, it explodes and kills the reader. Natural selection in action.

Except, I was talking about greedy Americans, not Americans, just the greedy ones.

Still forgetting the underlying issue: Canadians, not Americans.

By the way, I still haven't forgiven you for leaving while I was sleeping. And you didn't flush the toilet, either.

Except, it's an American company thats publishing it, along with an American author.

SD, there is a flaw in your argument, they are not going to be marketing it at manga fans, it will be marketed at all the wannabes, the teeny boppers, people who probably don't even know what country manga comes from, to them its a new foreign style of cartoon that is the latest fashion. I highly doubt this will be advertised in a magazine like newtype or jump, it'll probaly be advertised in those girl magazines that every hip 14 year old girl buys, like cosmogirl or fashionteen or what ever the hell those little brats buy.

On a related note, just think about all the kids out there who watched the 4kids version of OP and now think thats what anime is like. Pisses you off doesn't it? Same thing is happening here except its the other way around, something American being mangarised rather than anime being Americanised.

Manga and anime are originated from Japan, so why would foreign countries use that terms to identify their own style of comics. Seriously i really don't like it.

Because i do find that manga and western-comics style differs so much....
