Its from Aria (I love Aria, thats why I posted it), its based on the planet Aqua, which is a waterworld (after the polar ice was melted) that used to be Mars.
oh ya i remember that comic. I liked how the creature was the boss.
good stuff ish
President Aria is a cat. The anime is better BTW.
oh ya a martian cat. I'll check out the anime then.
Hehehe, 98Abaile. That's sharp one. Yeah i just read the 1st volume of the manga. and it is quite good. I couldn't have guess that the cat is the boss. and that the fact that the story is about a girl who want to become a "tourist boat driver". Sorry forgot the terms.... The girls is good looking too >.< ..
Just how big is the possibility of Aria happening in Mars in reality ?
LONG LIVE HIME-SAMA. MY LIFE FOR RUMBLANDIA!
No one would actually wanna live on mars, the place would be a hellhole unless you domed the entire damn planet, and could induce gravity.
Mars' low gravity would cause bone loss and general poor health in all un-modified humans, [Micro-G is a bitch for humans] the atmosphere is the most tenuous in our Solar System, even Titan has a thicker atmosphere. It's effectively hard vacuum. The scouring dust storms, you could walk around in em with nary but ye boxers, there's so little atmospheric effects.
No, speaking realistically, Venus is a far better terraforming choice, and speaking VERY realistically, the near jupiter/saturn orbital systems are the best spots for creating new human habitats.
Of course, the best spot for getting materials would be the Oort cloud that englobes our solar system. However, it's mostly empty space, with BIG ass rocks strewn around it. Twould be best exploited by automatic mining systems that process the asteroids, then fire off completed materials to the Inner System.
... Yes, I am a godamn Visionary. Suck it up, princess.
