    if this happened in america the media would fight so hard to overturn it. mostly because it makes them lose so much profit.

    Don't get too excited. All it means is that it is not ilegal to share the files, but it is STILL ilegal to own pirated media, regardless of how you got it.

    Basically it means that file sharing sites can't be prosecuted, neither can sharers, providing they legally own a copy of the media.
