Well, more likely she would just look confused, since she probably can't read English.

She'd probably be pleased that people are interested in her manga. I doubt she would sue, she will get royalties based on the number of copies printed and sold to book stores, not copies sold by book stores (although yeah, she probably wouldn't get as much due to less need to reprint).

You know, I have always thought that, since translations and dubbing suck abroad, maybe some company in Japan should do the translations(where they can get input from the authors) and dubbing(so they can have the original seiyuu's pick out what they would think is a good voice) over in Japan, and then sale that abroad. Gets around the licensing and copywrite issues, and could make a higher quality product. I would pay for that, but sadly it will never happen.

Jakko, the ones who screwed Inuyasha up were Japanese. Viz is Shogakukan and Shueisha's American bitch. (And it totally explains why they suck at romanization - the Japanese can't, either.)

I thought the American dub was quite good (but I watched only the first 52 episodes over 4 years ago so my memory may be bad).

It wasn't bad - I had issues with Kagome's voice, but it was otherwise among the best dubs I've ever seen. On the other hand, I hear bad things about Naruto, Bleach, FMA, etc... and, well, I think Viz licensed those, didn't they?
