    Conservapedia is
extremely short. It barely mentions anything about controversies.
Honestly, on wiki's creationism, look up the controversities section. Especially the part about "Evolution is just a theory". With the amount of times it was mentioned, and the way theory is still being called an idea, I'm beginning to think people are trying to mentally block out the possibility of science disagreeing with them. Oh, and scientific consensus means most of the scientific community agrees with it.

Also, if there are creationsit scientists (whom are merely trying to prove creationism, but have failed to come up with evidence) means that science doesn't agree evolution = true, you could say that Catholics don't believe that pedophilia, homosexuality, having sex in a church, or priests having sex is wrong. Cause there are Catholic priests whom "make love" to the alter boys in the churches.

And I don't see the point of Conservapedia. It may have facts, but it doesn't have all of the facts, or even a good part of them, and only choose it from a limited section.

This is on their frontpage lol
Conservapedia is an online resource and meeting place where we give full credit to Christianity and America.
What credit are they talking about that goes to America and Christianity?

I also find it odd how their front page has this:
    Today in History
    March 17
461 - St. Patrick died today.
    March 14
1879 - Albert Einstein was born today.
    March 12
1999 - NATO welcomes as members the former Warsaw Pact communist countries Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
    March 11
1874 - Radical Republican Charles Sumner died.
    March 10
1681 - The Pennsylvania Charter was granted to William Penn.
    March 9
1981 - Ketchup is made a vegetable, so public schools can include it in a balanced meal.
    March 8
1841 - The birthday of the utilitarian Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
So March 8-17 is all in one day?

They also have it on their frontpage that they'll track all vandals and seek legal action, so I'll just wait a few days and use a school computer since they also require cookies. It'd be funny if they took legal action against my school.

I can sort of understand the religious zeal, but when they start this "giving full credit to America" stuff and complaining about Wikipedia because some articles use British or international English instead of American English, I really blow a fuse. I mean, considering how most conservatives are already stereotyped as being racist, bigoted and intolerant of the rest of the world, they're really not helping their image.

And people wonder why I call republicans fascist.

Consensus has 2 different definitions. The one I'm most familiar with is "agreement" and mostly in the context of unison agreement. [I've been watching too many Law & Order shows.]

The one you're referring to is "majority rules."

See? The term "consensus" can be misleading. That's why I like the word "theory" instead cause there's no confusing aspect of that.

Hey, I was just reading the first few paragraphs. Cause, that's what I'd assume majority of people would do if they just want to get a general feel of the place.

Err.. I'm confused on the second half of what you're arguing. But, yea, there's creationist scientists. http://www.icr.org/

Only if you're stupid you'd think that.

    P.S.
    Here's an interesting observation...

Wiki will protect it's article about Liberalism to make it free from vandalism but doesn't protect its article about Conservatism.

The term "scientific" would give away the majority rules thing (well, at least I learnt that when I looked up "scientific consensus" a while back), but yeah, I see the point.

You are saying creationist scientists existing (which I don't deny there are, I just think they are messes up mentally), means creationism isn't a scientific consensus.

There were Catholic priests who had sex with alter boys in church, and even popes who had children with their sisters, did boys, etc.

My point was, if creationist scientists existing is small quantities = evolution isn't a consensus, that means Catholics don't believe gay sex, incest, pre-marital sex, pedophilia, and such are bad.

But this is getting off topic.
