Pets

So, I am currently typing this with my right arm looped over my purring cat as I lie on meh bed. She's also resting her head on meh chest ^_^

Note: Cats purr at a frequency conducive to regenerative bone growth and reinforcement, along with general healing acceleration and increased strength of the various biological systems.

I have 2 dogs at home, both jack russels, one old one called Barney and one young one who is a cheeky little sod called Russel (how original).

At uni, two of my flat mates own a cat each, Jones who isn't yet a year old, is a really nice cat, or at least I think he is, everyone else says he can be a bit anti social, but he seems to love me. The other cat is called Tom, hes a bit old, everyone says he is a really social cat, but he always seems a bit shy of me (completely the opposite of Jones). And yes, I'm fully aware of the fact that they are called Tom Jones, AFAIK it was completely coincidental.

white cat with black and brown spots - dead
gray cat - dead
1 zarigani (a species of crayfish) - let it go in nature after having it for 2 years as pet
2 hamsters - give them away when we left japan
2 dozen baby hamsters (while we still had the parents) - give a bunch to pet store, bury the rest, while they're less then a week old...
4 ducklings and 6 chicks - 1 duck eaten by the neigbhor's dog, rest cooked .... ;_;
black cat - disapeared, probably eaten by dogs
5 tadpoles (then later frogs) - 1 drowned, 1 escaped and dried out, 1 got crushed beneath a rock, 2 died of age..?
1 brownish striped cat - gets run over by a car in front of house. leaves pretty nice blood stains on sidewalk
corn snake (altho technically brother's pet) - escapes and we were unable to find her again
mice - kept as pets, then given to snake as food
gray-ish brown-ish striped cat - is put to sleep in hospital because of internal desease

Umm, you probably shouldn't own anymore pets (lol j/k).

I really want a ferret =[, too bad California bans owning one as a pet. Those bastards. I also want a dog. But my mom absolutely hates pet because they can't control their bladder when they are young (though ive tried to explain its the same for babies and could be solved through training). So eh, no pets for me cept for some fishies.
