im kinda for it. lots of power generated and is a lot safer now that before. and remember the simpsons isn't real so don't believe what it says

against. nuclear fission seems more promising. at least until we figure out the lethal side effects that will probably come with that sort of energy.

but yah... radioactive waste needs to be stored, and there's only a limited amount of space on earth.

Fission is regular nuclear power, you're thinking of fussion.

Cold fusion is very possible, it's pretty pointless though.
It's an extremely low yield reaction – It's chemical in nature, not physical.

Fusion reactors have no drawbacks, what the hell are you talking about?
Actually, they require an amazingly expensive fuel source, and they run through it far more quickly than fission, [Which, in total terms, actually yields more energy] but there is no nuclear waste, and it only produces high-energy radiation, that is, radiation that decays rapidly and is easily blocked with certain polymers/ceramics.

Surprising it may be, but coal reactors actually produce MORE radioactive waste than what comes right out the crapper of a fission plant [Every single one of them has a radiation level LOWER than the surrounding areas due to the decontamination procedures]

I though cold fussion is still pointless because the amount of energy needed still exceded the amount of energy it released ?
