For. It's the best energy source we have, for now ...

I'm against..
Even though we could get much energy from it, it's yet to easy to do mistakes. Instead of making more safety-stuff to make it better, they should rather make new ways of making energy, or making what we have more useful..

I'm for it, as long as it has lots of safety measures, like the titanic. Ah... bad example.

Anyway I think it's good because it makes energy and doesn't cause air pollution unlike using fossil fuels, though I rather stick with powerplants powered by nature, like wind, water, and solar. Those usually don't have any potential bad effects.

I'd wish I could be a happy loving environmentalist, but I'm not. I only protect the environment when it's convenient for me.

So yea, if it's convenient to utilize natural sources of energy like air, water, solar, than I'd be anti. If it's inconvenient, than I'm pro.

For. We need more energy source that does not spew out greenhouse gases, it is already hot enough as it is. I though cold nuclear fusion os a myth and cannot be done? Isn't nuclear fusion like what the sun does??
All change and evolution is redundant when death is inevitable.

For, at least until nuclear fusion. Radioactive waste can be safely stored until we can find a way to get rid of it.

for, as long as every other renewable energies are used as well, and used well.

I'd like less countries to use it though, because it will soon cost too much lol < kidding, though it's true... (i am speaking about fission of course)

Well, Shautieh's French and the French love nuclear power. =P After years of having to argue for nuclear power in model UNs, I have to say I support nuclear power - it's a good source of energy that can be used now, and reduce emissions. I'm sure there's a solution to nuclear waste, and that's still a better alternative than heating the world and causing the endangerment of animal, plant and human populations. It's being used in many countries now, too~

Well maybe it because im been raised in Québec, where we use mainly Water for our energy ressources, but i think that renewable ressources are the best solutions that we have now. With our water we don't polute one bit , the only backdraw is that sometime we need to immerge some territories (no one lives in thoses territories) so sometime we drown some littles forests.
