Thread: stoptazmo has a members section?

lol. I was looking for a specific manga online (unfortunately it is not here) and came across this post:

"About stoptazmo.com, i suggest that you do NOT support that site. Many scanlation groups hate that site because it pirates their free works and uses it for profit (via a more advantageous membership)."

the site is at some site called "pinoy exchange" on a thread called "where to download manga scanlation?

Now, i was not aware that there was a "more advantageous membership" option here. Where, exactly can i find this? ;)

it's funny how ST sounds more to do with tazmo than tazmo himself

1) We do not pirate other people's stuff. The credits page is left. Stoptazmo does the exact same thing as any other distributer out there; it hosts manga.

2) Stoptazmo is a non profit organization. All donations goes to paying for servers. Usually, stoptazmo is in negative profits and the owner ends up paying the difference with his own pocket money. For about a year, the owner used to always pay for the server with his own money and would not accept donations.

3) There is no special advantageous membership area in regards to downloading.

Posts like these are so frustrating.

As Yummy Lingo assumed, I too think that the guy meant Narutofan, but since Stoptazmo has tazmo on it, and Tazmo is Narutofan's owner, he made a mistake.

Besides that one, most of the commentaries that I have read regarding Stoptazmo, say that this is a good site.

Well there are groups that have a distaste for this site, but that's a long and involved explanation.

The big issue is no... ST does not use manga to turn a profit.
