Ya know...i forgot what i was watching or where i heard this...but when hackers do things like this they purposely leave their info. They want to be caught or want ppl to at least attempt to catch them. It's like a psychological problem they have or something if i remember correctly. It was their way to get attention from others and be recognized. Something along those lines...
