Anyone feel guilty?
Not guilty....scared. o_o
He used drugs to treat heroin addicts? That would seems somewhat counterproductive to me...Led by Tao Ran, a military researcher who built his career by treating heroin addicts, the clinic uses a tough-love approach that includes counseling, military discipline, drugs, hypnosis and mild electric shocks.
And why exactly should we feel guilty?
Not guilty, but amused ^^
hehe, LOL!A 12-year-old boy receives electric shock treatment for his Internet addiction
Anyone else thinks that electric shocks are one of the funniest inventions ever?
Yeah, that's pretty disturbing, but hey we can all go to room 10 and have our own mock battles. It'd be just like playing an online game only the other people are in the room with you.

I'm laughing at the guy who used the computer for 5 hours a week and went to the thing just to avoid his parents.
Actually there's probably some merit to the idea, based on the life ruining, hikkikomoriesque, seclusion-mandating net hours some people put in, but those are generally the ones who would be in a totally messed up case even without the internet because they have no social skills. But in most cases going to an "internet intervention clinic" is like killing a fly with a shotgun.
meatwad: I'm thinking it just wouldn't be the same. Counterstrike addicts could have some fun there though, cursing and calling each other n00bs when they refused to admit that they were dead.

One of those guys in the report played 5 hours a _week_ and had to go there O_O, well some people are sick (aka internet addicts / mentally disturbed for sending their children to a torture center for playing 5 hours a week).
The 5 hour players only went there because their parents were being idiots and wanted them to stop using the computer at all so that they could study 24 hours a day or something.

What do the electric shocks even do that's supposed to help people anyway? Build up a static power reservoir in your body that fries any computer you try using?
