    China, or Egypt ?

    During the five-minute court session the judge said Soliman was guilty and would serve three years for insulting Islam and inciting sedition, and one year for insulting Mr Mubarak.

    five-minute court session
    That's just scary. Somebody never heard of due process.

    Maybe only 15% of teens in China have computers.

    According to that study 14% are vulnerable, which implies that they have the potential to be addicticted to the internet. That number may seem low but considering how large the Chinese population is that is probably a a fairly large number and most importantly, China's future workforce. Seems they want to nip this behavior in the bud so that future productivity doesn't slide. Any prolonged unproductive behavior over there probably isn't tolerated very well.

    Most have been forced to come by their parents, who are paying upward of $1,300 a month -- about 10 times the average salary in China -- for the treatment.
    Talking about making a storm on a glass of water...
    How much time did those lads spend in the Internet? 15+ hours a day?
    And people say that there is not enough money to live a decent life. If they think that they are overusing the Internet, would it not be better to just take it away? Would that not be more economic?

    Well imagine all those teens out there who have no life and spend all day on the computer. Then suddenly it is all gone... All those hours are freed up and guess what? They got nothing to do >.>. They suck at all sports, they got no friends (save the online ones), and probably don't have a hobby that isn't computer-related. So they just sit. ... Or I imagine this would be true for the real computer addicts that need help.

    That's pretty boring since that happened to me once for one day. We had just moved in to a new house so no internet and I couldn't leave the house and was home all by myself. It was torture ;_;
