Ninjas...need I say more?
Me and a buddy of mine were actually arguing about how amazing ninjas were really in the old days (or right now, since there still exists masters of ninjitsu), because in games they all seem so extreme.
My friend said it was all hype, like they were probably pretty freaking stealthy and speedy and such, but it was overexagerated. I on the other hand, decided to dream big. I told em that if ther're still acknowledged years and years after their 'prime' (when they were a full fledged feared organisation), then they have to be pretty special. Ninjas would be like the ultimate warrior. They were the assassins in the feudal age in Japan, trained for utmost stealth.
It was just a stupid boredom debate, but today, i got hit by a piece of info that made me say : gold star for me!
My teachers started by telling us that their shoes were practicly nothing, just like big sox, to prevent cuts. The point of which being so it would be like they were barefoot, because they had devised a special technique. Ninjas are half-arse known for being able to run (not like fog, RUN) for hours and hours on end, days even, with ease. But how? Turns out they run in a way that activates certain pressure points underneath your foot (because practicly all your nerves end on the bottom of your foot). These pressure points would send a message to the rest of the body, keeping it in perfect harmony, no increase in heartbeat or breathing!
I know a bit more about ninjas, just out of randomness, but i'll leave you with this enlightening message : there is a ninja behind you right now, bwahahahaha!
