Yes, and given 8 other choices, do you honestly think just one of those will take up more than half of the remaining time? That is my point.

School, Work, or Socializing if like me you have nothing else to do all day, and plus your only going on if you get 8 hours of sleep. Some people go on less. Thats all I'm saying.

    3 things you listed.
First subtract the three meals per day, say, 20 minutes each if you eat fast. That is an hour gone.
Say and hour getting to and from everywhere you need, added up over the entire day(even with a subway) should mean about an hour.
Even if you are one of those psycho's that budget their time incredibly strictly, say, 30 minutes a piece for relaxing(over the entire day), those slight lull's in excitement, and 30 minutes for Misc stuff(that is, if you are a machine). On the safe side, it is better to say at least 2 hours.

That is 4 hours gone there, and only with strict time management.

Most students take around 16 hours per week. Let's say that means you have 4 hours per day.

If you skimp on sleep(say, 6 hours), that leaves you with 10 hours for work and homework. Divided evenly, it still would not account for more than sleep. The numbers just don't work. And I didn't even count socializing.

I didnt mean to spend half the day doing ONLY one of the above; this is assuming that you do all of these things routinely everyday, but you just happen to spend more time commuting everyday than the time you spend on homework, for example. I should have been more specific in the post anyway, my fault. ^^
I got these choices from somewhere else though, I have a screencap of the pie chart somehwhere in my comp, but the results are just an 'average estimate'; I wanted to see the results of real people. But I dont remember what the site is, otherwise I would have put a link.. :/
(And I know someone right now who hasnt slept in 3 days so, yea.. XD; )

I'm usually at school from 7:20 until around 5, so there's 9 hours and 40 minutes gone. Clearly, it's the major way I use my time. After that, probably sleep or socializing.

yeah but no one does anything like that... =\

Take me for example Sleep for about 7 hours a day (2am - 9am), i dont eat breakfast usually, im up im out my house within a half hour, on the train for an hour and a half, in school for another 5 hours, back on the train for 1.5 hours and then im home and on my comp or watching tv till 2am (No hw in CC =P).... and thats literaly how i had my time set up every day all day last semester. except saturday and sunday. Sleep falls as second in the amount of time i spend doing things. not to mention the shorter days when i sleep less and im out doing other recreational/social things.

    ... but thats just me.
