JW just made themselves another anti-propaganda - more reasons to avoid them.
The Doctors did the right thing and I hope they won't bear any consequences of it - In my opinion, they are somehow heroes (they had lots to risk for taking such measurements).

If the children didn't get blood, they wouldn't survive, so why not?

The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania is the main legal entity used by Jehovah’s Witnesses. It teaches that the Bible prohibits the consumption, storage and transfusion of blood, including in cases of emergency.

    Apparently not.

They're Jehovah's Witnesses. It's not a matter on ethics if the government chooses to take away their babies. It's a matter of, Jehovah's Witnesses are crazy ass bastards who would rather let their children die a slow painful death rather than get medical treatment because they are fucking insane crazy persons.

Like this junior girl in one of my classes back in freshman year in college. Got hit by a truck. Her mother refused to let her have a blood transfusion.

Id say that anything which goes against the life of a child is wrong. saying that though would also mean that you are against abortion since no one can define when the true life of a child really starts. in this case the parents are putting their beliefes and their wishes before their childrens lives, which happens in every abortion... thus legally and ethically id have to agree with the parents.... morally obviously i dont agree with any of them. being this stupid is like believing the holy roman catholic church 600yrs ago was really good.

I'm gonna have to agree with cpr and her quote, I mean you say you want your children to live, but you won't consent to the one thing that will save their lives. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Prime example of the dilemmas and situations religion puts people in. Don't worry as soon as stem cells get the go ahead the exact same thing is gonna happen with other more widely accepted Christian factions.

I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,

well i still agree with a religious faction. its the only moral thing left. having a person decide on his childrens fate is out right disgusting but it happens all the time. at least we have a legal faction which is bound to democracy and will give the right to the family and the adult faction and a religious faction which gives the standards to take care of the children and the ones in need. a balance is always needed. a governement cant have both. no governement has at least till now.

The parents should be slapped silly. The social workers did the right thing.

    God, I hate religious fanatics.

I'm guilty of this too, but I thought it was funny, so I pointed it out.
