sorta off topic, but wasnt there a case were a doctor went through with it without the person giving the OK? i think it happened in in america somewhere and then it was banned in that state after they found out. i remember hearing about it when i was in hs

It should definatly be legal for the person themselves to make the choice. And i agree that a better way of inforcing it should be looked into.

Maybe even the BFF method from south park would be the way to go someone who you name as being in control of your decisions should you be mentally or physically unable to.

In Poland, it isn't legal since our country is pro-catholic, but I think it's not the bad thing - it's has more sense and humanity than committing suicide just because you can't withstood pain or making family go in ruins because they can't afford to keep someone alive as vegetable.

BFF idea might work, but it should become a legal association and not just a necklace - I don't know how it really works or is it really exist, but in south park Cartman used this in improper way.

I'm in favor of euthanasia, naturally.

euthenasia is mercy killing and everyone agrees with that... no matter what religion you are ( im christian me self) the only point which makes it hard to agree upon is the pain thing. the pain can effect the mind so much that you cant make a rational desicision. making the decision before hand is obviously out of the question since you must go through something to know how it feels. many people say that the pain was agonising when recovering froma disease... if they had done euthanasia then it would have been all over. on another thing... even thoguh its mercy killing its still suicide... its just for a different reason... its cause physical pain is too much... but what of physcological pain? so if my friend dies/ my wife dies/ my gf leaves me and the psycholigcal pain is beyond repair should i be allowed to kill myself? i believe that we can live no matter what happens. its only a matter of actually analysing everything and trying everything. pain can always be subsided by drugs just like psycholigcal pain can be subsided by anti depressants. id say no for euthanasia since i say no for suicide.

I agree with euthanasia. If a person asks to be killed, or is in a state that has near to if not 100% chance of not changing then yes. If theres a chance that the person could live a halfway decent life if left alive then no. Homeless people do not deserve to be euthanized.

did that come out right? its like euthanasia is some kind of gift. homeless dont want to die otherwise theyd just commit suicide/ ie euthanasia. its just a nicer word.. but it still depends on your perspective to life. oh well. its a persons choice, his life, i cant understand why we cant commit suicide but we promote euthenasia... cant understand the system

Yes i meant it exactly how I said it. Your granted your time to wallow in homeless self pity but afterwards you should try to get back together, beg for some change, get a shave and a shower, go work at McDonalds and then get yourself a house in the projects and work your way up. Its always an option rather than spending your life wallowing in your own patheticness, dreaming of ways to end it all.
