I thought Japanese serving sizes were famously small?

McDonalds is always customized to fit the region, I hate the place though, (worked there before, never eat there willingly now).

They should serve it here, where to be thin is be to a minority.

I didn't see that they did it very well.

It's just that there are slight (or not so slight) differences all over the world, the Ice Cream from China had some weird toppings.

MacDonalds is nasty food, anyhow.

Relative to the sesame seeds, it actually looks pretty small.
Still probably loaded with calories though.
