I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,

It's funny, I have some friends who have to work today. Such racist companies! Tommorrow is my birthday so I'm having a bunch of friends over to play video games and just relax.

...Never really saw the point of Martin Luther King Day. Rosa Parks started it all, if not MLK, it would have been someone else that did what had to be done. I personally think we should celebrate her, not MLK...

yeah true, but he was the one who really put himself out there and got famous things done. But ya know Rosa has the entire month of February to share and feel all fuzzy about in her grave... she knows we all love her.

I've got the day off from school. Thus, I am happy.
Regarding MLK vs. Rosa Parks...meh. Both were great people. MLK deserves his own day, though, I'd say.
But then again, I'm not the person to judge who deserves a holiday. I'd give Hitler a holiday if it got me out of school, and I'm Jewish.

forgive us, we're canadian. *shrugs* the whole holiday thing like that is odd for us
The guy did some great things though. So did Rosa. It's a nice time to remember all the strong people who fought for social freedoms.
