Thread: For anyone who's ever read the literary abnormality we know as "Oryx and Crake"

My friends had to read Lord of the Flies and they didn't like it that much. I however having read it last year because I had heard of it bought it, read it on my free time and liked it.

It's a masterpiece.

Most of the books you read in high school get a lot of crap, at least from what I've seen...but every once in a while you read something great.

I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest too! ^_^ Loved that book! Saw the movie in class, too - best part of the class, actually. And The Chrysalids was actually a good book, even having read it twice before. Hm. I've been lucky with highschool book studies.

I've read 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Atlas Shrugged, Lord of the Flies(Infinite Ryvius=goodanime, btw), and Do Androids Dream of Electric, but alas, I have not read Oryx and Crake. Sorry my friend.

Edit: Oh, and A Clockwork Orange is just messed up.

I swear, if you can't form a complete, coherent thought(one ending with a ".," "?," or "!"), I think I might lose it.

P.S. - Clockwork Orange sucked. So did the movie.

It's just an inate characteristic of mine, incoherant and mostly incomplete thoughts. Warning well taken into consideration =)

What can I say, I am not a fan of moral relativism, amorality, bad endings, and especially the Smurfs.
