My friends had to read Lord of the Flies and they didn't like it that much. I however having read it last year because I had heard of it bought it, read it on my free time and liked it.

I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest too! ^_^ Loved that book! Saw the movie in class, too - best part of the class, actually. And The Chrysalids was actually a good book, even having read it twice before. Hm. I've been lucky with highschool book studies.

I've read 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Atlas Shrugged, Lord of the Flies(Infinite Ryvius=goodanime, btw), and Do Androids Dream of Electric, but alas, I have not read Oryx and Crake. Sorry my friend.
Edit: Oh, and A Clockwork Orange is just messed up.

I'm sorry about that, as I don't mean to troll or take part of any form of that.
It's just an inate characteristic of mine, incoherant and mostly incomplete thoughts. Warning well taken into consideration =)

what was there not to like from clockwork? Drugs, violence, sexual content, anti-hero's, the flaws of man and the downfall of society. It has everything that is needed for a good ol' fashion time kill =D
