i know...i learned a little japanese...but when it really comes down to it...u dont use katakana much, u use hiragana a good portion...and u use a lotta kanji. and we both know kanji = the lose...ahaha.
=\, like i said its from personal experience. I was saying that as a fact, just whats happened to me. And Hanul...he's just got a lot, i mean A LOT of nationalism for corea/korea. Not sayin it's a bad thing.Yeah, you haven't - because in my experience, Japanese people are friendly. The Koreans at my school are fairly exclusive (unlike the Japanese I know, they don't have the excuse of being recent immigrants... but hey, I could have met different people too).
Oh, and there's Hanul, which says a lot. =P
God, I hate nationalism. I mean, we're all nationalistic (and don't lie, you ARE!), but I hear so much hypocrisy around it - especially (no offence) with Americans. Like when they say that Japan's too nationalistic, can't have that, etc. - yeah, and we're talking about America, need I say more? Can't we just all accept that WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY! and that's okay?
Kanji isn't that hard... I mean, you get furigana with books, so it's okay~ and you get to know some after a while (words like watashi/boku from reading, and kimi from music lyrics) without even having to study the kanji. ^_^
Heheh, I love new immigrants. ^_^ In a conversation - you can *only* be Japanese or Canadian:
Them: So, where are you from?
Me: Uh... Canada.
Them: Oh, cool!
Me: ...yeah, so I guess you're from Japan. Judging from the Engrish. So do I look like an Asian with plastic surgery? o_O
Oh, but the Engrish is great~ Catchy, too.

nationalism...it happens. Thats why i said it's not a bad thing...just it's there. And besides, wouldnt it be weird to have nationalism for another country?...it wouldnt just make sense...ahahah. Think about it...say i'm american, but i have nationalism for France....it's so like...."WTF?!"...ahaha.
kanji isnt that hard...until u get to characters that have like 15 strokes...ahaha! The highest is 23? i think...something like that..20 some...ahaha. Suxxors...and if i remember correctly, to be considered literate in kanji, u need to know over 600 kanji characters?...somethin like that. =\
I don't lie about my nationalism. I'm afraid of my nationalism sometimes, but I don't lie about it. Don't ask me how nationalistic I am, it's really scary how nationalistic I am... >.>

American or not if youre overly nationalistic you need something better to do with your time then sit there wondering how awesome you are.
