I would never tell people to go to Myspace! Heck, I'd tell them to pull on the tail of a mad pitbull but never go to Myspace!
People do change but sometimes it's something else. Sometimes they didn't change, you just got your rationality back. In the attraction phase of love, it makes people irrational and obsessive. Why? Low levels of serotonin. It is said that low levels of serotonin are involved with people who have obssessive compulsive disorder. Also the neural circuits that are involved in the way we assess other are supressed. This is probably what makes you "blind" and unaware of their flaws. But as you go on into the attatchment phase, in which the chemicals in the attraction phase fade and you become rational and notice your partners faults. So that's another reason why you think some people might change but really, you were just blind.
To be on topic. I think it is too late. It happens to me all the time because I'm so shy!
Heh...I have OCD. What's that say about my emotional state?
^ I don't think most of the compulsions or obsessions involved in OCD are actually that dangerous (not saying that's necessarily the case here).
@ kawaiisan, you still haven't really explained what this is about.
... I'm OCD but that doesn't mean I don't like screwing around with fire, in ways that are far more dangerous than pretty much any 'compulsion/obsession' you could do.
Even cutting your wrists.
To actually cut your wrist going across, would require cutting nearly an inch deep to get to the major arteries. This is due to most people pulling their hands back when they cut their wrists, moving the blood vessels underneath the mussels.
So, tell me, do you have enough motivation to cut THROUGH your muscles?
I think not.
And that's why almost no one has died from cutting their wrists.
Even then, most of them have to assist themselves with hotwater to keep the wound open.
