The sports thread...
My reasoning is that the entire forum cannot be comprised only of otaku and shut ins. Post your favourite sport, or what you play, or your most cherished team or... well, anything sports related I guess...
My favourite sport is volleyball - if someone asks me if I want to play, it doesn't matter what I'm doing or what I have to do next - I'm on the court.
I used to play basketball more in highschool, but that fell out of favor when volleyball became more accessible in university.
Go Leafs, even though you suck. Go Raptors! You're the best of the worst which means PLAYOFFS!
I love playing volleyball, though I'm not too great at it.
My first sports love was basketball, I used to dream of making the NBA, then I realized I was Chinese.
I enjoy playing football, too, but I'm too small to really make it on a team.
Not too shabby at badminton, either.
FootBall(american) I used to play soccer all the time.
And Boxing i broke my nose for the 37th time last week, 13 more and the coach gives me a hundered bucks. Im good but not tourni good.
Volleyball, baseball, soccer (badly), Parkour, inline skating, handball, homocide.
You should have established a better reward ratio with your coach. 10 times? 100 bucks. That wouldve been my minimum.

I'm not good a sports but I liked playing tennis and batminton. I couldn't serve the shuttle thing at all. Also, I like swimming because its sooo fun.
Ugh... I hate swimming. It also has something to do with conditioning. If you don't swim for a long time, you'll seize up often. But still, I'll stick to my daily showers for water sports...
I used to run track and do high jump.
I remember everyone was amazed at my high jump ability because I was so short.
no... its a game played with a high concrete or cement wall (side of a house, handball wall, tall building, etc), a handball and about 10 to 30 people. the people all group together and one person called the "popper" throws the ball as hard and as high against the wall as possible. the group then tries to catch the ball, if anyone touches the ball and DOENST catch it then they have to run to the wall and touch it. everyone else has to scramble for the ball (once it touches the ground of course or then they have to run as well) and hit the people who touched the ball and missed with the ball before they get to the wall. if you hit someone three times before they get to the wall theyre out. once everyone is either out or at the wall the popper throws again. if you catch the ball when the popper throws it you become the popper. if the popper throws the ball and whiffs it (roofs it for example) hes out.game ends when two people are left, one popper and one person to catch.

the game is alot harder than it sounds, people throw really hard and it hurts to get hit (all the more reason to have steady hands in a giant crowd) and if the popper has a good arm the ball can go at least 70 feet backwards off the wall making it quite the distance to run before an angry mob armed with a handball can bean you three times.
lots of fun trust me but dont play if youre fat, short, cant jump, slow or ... bad at catching, they will NAIL your ass and handballs are like missiles in the hands of evil 14 year olds.
Well it's not like i get hit on purpose for the money, its just something he does.
