I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

Sat's is to find out what race you are as you can't ask when asking for high school grades. My Uncle works in a university broad and knows what he talking about. Each university is required to have a certain number of race in their school, as it's mentioned but in a more indirect way, and the SAT's does that.
That and the fact I'm pissed that my friend got excepted to a school we both signed up for at the same time but he had worser grades and SAT score but still got in while I didn't. Seems they didn't have enough Asains in the Law department.... meh I got a 1280(old)... bitches....the second time I took it. Third time I got a 1480(shows how much I cared) It's not like in college you take a test based on everything you learn in your life in one day all stacked up in a bullshit book.
I am also a math atheist and refuse to learn something I do not have faith in.
We can take the SATs in Canada. Although unless you're planning to go to the states, they're mostly for bragging rights.
As far as tailoring the SATs, I'm fairly sure the SATs have been revised recently to avoid having question bias. At its core, it may well still reflect an anglocentric outlook - as it tests math and verbal skills that would be learned in school, as opposed to skills disadvantaged or dropout students may have acquired. But I doubt most universities are interested in that particular skill set anyway...
Mind you, we also have standerdized tests in my province. They're essentially like the Acts, but everyone has to take at least one to graduate (English) and they're required. If you take the subject (physics 12, math 12 ect) you had to take the test for it.
On the other hand.. I'm old so they've changed the system since I was there. XP It's really weird now XP
As for the test it's self... They don't teach you how to think that way here. like.. for the comparision.. ___ is to __ as ___ is to ____ so I completely failed that section my first time, then managed to do better the second :P It's like every test for a different teacher, you have to learn THEIR method to do well. *shrugs*

I absolutely hate the SAT and all standardized tests for that matter. Seriously, you don't need to do well in school to do well on the SAT. You could just go to those Kaplan or Princeton Review where you just cram for the SATs. (props to all those who got perfect score)
Does the fact that you can do analogies and quantitative comparison mean that you'll do well in college?? Heck no. (yeah, I took the old one ) Oh well, I'm glad colleges also look at grades 'cause I got into Berkeley and UCLA
Today, I got lost on the road of life.
I get my SAT score tomorrow >.>
The fact that my gpa is only decent (curse you computer science and your teacher who can't teach and is the reason why half of us dropped out) and that I don't have many activities cause me to worry about SATs and ACTs
Until one has given everything, one has given nothing.
