Whats funny is this:
I know I've heard this more then once, anyone else ever hear about this?Critics claim that the SAT is biased towards males, whites, and the rich.

Actually, it's more biased towards the asians.
But then again, what test isn't?
^ Well thats what I'm not understanding about these SATs. What kinda shit are they asking you so that they can be biased?
Well, proper english/grammar, for one. In inner-city urban neighborhoods, the predominantly black population speak ebonics, not "proper english", so they'll get raped by the grammar section.
Well to be honest that seems fair enough. I mean its important to be able to communicate clearly; ebonics won't be all that much use in most of society. But that can't be all they're complaining about, as thats just common sense.
Actually it was more about the questions. Most, if not all of their questions that were about or dealt with people, the people were either rich, white, or dead. But that was awhile ago.

what we speak and write are two different things, most of the kids if they get lucky enough to have a chance of passing the SAT know what they are doing, the rest only fail miserably because they dont care, dont intend on going to college, dont intend on finishing highschool, have kids, have lots of kids, are pregnant, in jail, headed to jain, coming out of jail, visiting someone in jail, taking care of buisness, working, working some more, raising families, substituting for parents, being deported, are playing basketball, playing football, practicing for basketball, practicing for football, are dead, are dying, are lazy, on drugs, selling drugs, sleeping, not giving a fuck, lack the capacity, or are just general dumbasses.
but its not because of fucking ebonics.

I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

^ Which one did you take that you got 1200 though?
The 1600 one or the 2400 one?
I got 2300, 800 math, 800 reading, 700 writing.
Apparently criticizing the SATs in the essay is not a smart move (I thought my essay was pretty good personally, and the score I got for the essay obviously didn't fit with my score for the rest of the test).
The whole "OMG SATS R RACIST" thing is bullshit. They're not. It's a reasonable test of aptitude. It tests basic math, vocabulary, and grammar skills. There's nothing racist about it...either you know the stuff or you don't. In the case of urban environments, it's the fault of the environment that proper English isn't always used, but that doesn't mean students can't learn proper English. A similar argument could be made for the South, where everyone talks like a fucking idiot.
I like standardized tests.
Hey I resent that, I live in the south.
Though they said it was racist, because of the some of the old questions, where if it always talked about people, the people had to be either white, rich, or dead. and that the questions that talked about people never talked about anyone else except the white, rich, and dead.
