i 'unno, i hope there is a fourth one this is the kind of series that could go on for a long time, theres tons of sea lore to explore and put into this, my only hope is that Johnny, Keira, and Orlando stay with the sequels, they bring it to life in my opinion and without it they would just suck.

ontopic: PoTC ftw. For the second one, me and my buddies went opening night to go catch it. Meh, i'm still very iffy on how it ended...like, it just ended. That and how things just kept going, they just kept dragging things longer and longer. Cuz i mean seriously, there was hardly any story told in the second one. Not to say that i didnt like it, but i still thought mos def that the 1st one was waaaaaay better. But kool, cant wait.

On-topic: I wonder why they WOULD have a PoTC 4. I mean, I'd be really surprised if they didn't wrap it all up in 3... granted, there was a giant plot, but it seems to need a simple resolution (not that I remember what that resolution will be). I'm sure they'll have the same characters in 4 - *sigh* - which could mean that they're just dragging out this franchise longer than necessary. I mean, I LIKE Pirates, but until I see what the plot is like and how they plan to do this, I'm skeptical.

I love pirates of the caribbean if ya havent noticed ^_^. Will turner talks a lot but I still think hes funny. Damn, now I want to rewatch the wheel scene from 2 and what the hell is she wearing >_<, it looks so weird and does not match her at all, it makes her head look like a sail boat

but i gotta agree w/ PoTC4. They should just end it with a trilogy. Its just a fact, that when things are dragged out like this, everyone will just hate it. The story becomes dumb, etc. Like you said, they are just draggin out the franchise. (even tho i think johnny deep is one of the best actors out right now). Any release date yet? anyone know? (i think this is over 70)

Yeah PoTC3 is going to be excellent. As for a fourth film in the franchise, that's the nature of film making today, I mean the studios are all like hey, this movie did really well why don't we make another one and another, then they go on with the spin offs. Most movies that are part of a series are better as a trilogy. In other words I think it will probably not be as good, but there's always hope. As for a release date I think I've heard that it's coming out on May 25, 2007, the week after Spiderman 3.

The first one was great but the commercials for the second was a turn off.
