as told by The National Geographic Society

    Check it out!

i think these were pretty cool a number of them were brought up here before and had topics about em. i know CPR referenced some of them in her biblical rants. i think the most influential of stories was the booting of Pluto from the planetary class of celestial objects... i know its gonna be fun being 30 years old and telling my kids when i was your age Pluto was a planet! XD

i always knew it was weird that the greatest prophet ever couldnt prophecise his own death XP

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

yeah i remember watching the program of when they first discovered ancient book about judas. It has caused a lot of controversy ever since. Religion could be changed FOREVER =o! (not hoping this will become a big religious debate.)

and i remember when the pluto thing came out a few months ago. It's soooo wierd, since back in elementary skool we had 9 planets. Now its 8...ahaha. I wonder what they are teaching kids as of RIGHT now in school? Anyone have a bro/sis/cousin/something in grade school right now?

Well, I'm telling my kids that Pluto is a planet and that's that. They can't just demote it from planet status because they discovered a pair of smaller things that they think should be included in pluto. Just call them planets or something... but to call them plutons and demote Pluto is crazy.

I don't remember most of those stories (but Noah's Ark in Iran? Clearly they haven't listened to the stories placing it in Japan. Psht. *goes back to reading manga*) except the Steve Irwin one (that was sad) and a vague memory of the Judas incident...
