What did you want to be when you grew up?

Just asking a simple question becuase as children many of us belive that we can do anything. Be it an astronaut, an actor or even a pony. Then we grow up and realize the futility of becoming what we want to become becuase it involves hard work.

I wanted to be an author or a marine biologist when I was a kid. I could still become an author but I gave up on being a marine biologist a long time ago.

wanted to be a Civil Engineer for most of my life... now im on a road to start TOEFL...

i wanted to be the guy who beats up the bad guy, and does crazy stunts and unbelievable moves... :(

but as we all know in this day and age you can be beaten up for thinking like that XD

I wanted to be a doctor (as my father). Now trying to become biologist...

I only wanted to be an engineer, and bam.

But you should see this thing my friend from back in elementary had written down for his occupations in the future. I still remember it because even back then, I thought it was stupid.

Also what's funny is that he had such manly dreams, but grew up to be a nurse. lol

I nevered really liked anything while growing up. =(

I wrote down stupid stuff like being a writer/artist cause I didn't really know a lot of jobs.

My friend wanted to be an ice cream truck driver. He thought they could eat allllllllll the ice cream he could possibly want. XD

I wanted to be a cow.

Astronaut...Chef...then Astronomer (what a lame downgrade from 'naut), then a fireman, I have no idea why. Finally I found want I wanted to be (concept artist) and stuck with it from a fairly early age.

I wanted to be a male dancer for pentahouse parties

but then all this "gay" talk started spreading, and my dreams were crushed

I wanted to be a pediatrician. Then I grew up and realized I hated little kids.

Well, that or an authour, but I did become a fanfiction writer and my future jobs now still involve writing so that hasn't really changed.
