Thread: Israel X Palestine

Israel is obviously at fault for the most of the crisis. They have been asassinating innocent palestinians for years now under the pretext of eliminating terrorist without any further proof. When palestinian kill one Israeli soldier, Israel sends out an entire army and starts slautering civilians as revenge. I believe most of the crisis in the Middle East would stop if Israel were to return all the land it seized since 1948, including the Gholan Heights, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the Sheba Farms.
It is true that before the 1948 partition of Palestine, the Jews did indeed own an estimated 7% of the land, yet they got 55% of the land and the palestinian majority only got a 45% land. On top of that, Israel has been building settlements on captured land, which is stated as illegal according to the UN resolution 242 and many others UN resolutions which Israel has failed to follow. The arguement about Israel's right to exist in its current location due to biblical and historical reason is just ridiculous. The same could be said about the Christians and the Muslims; both have strong religious origins in that region. With that in mind, Israel has no right to claim a Jewish State in a place that belongs equally to Christians and Muslims. If Truman so dearly wanted a state for the Jews, he should've just given him New Mexico or Alaska.

It's only suspected and believed untill Israel themselves say that they have them. I mean we all know that they most definately do have nuclear weapons. But its all just believing and suspected untill they themselves admit it.

I have read in the past that it was suspected, but recently I've been reading that it's confirmed that they HAVE nuclear weapons (and it was either in the Toronto Star, Macleans, Time, or Newsweek - or multiple ones). Information about those nukes is unknown.

Let's just assume that they have them since the options are either certain, or most likely.

Also... why not just give Alaska to Canada? We might run out of space to dump our garbage one day. =P Kidding. We already have.

Alaska has the bloody black gold(oil). Canada...well they have...trees, yeah trees...and....Native Americans...and.......French seperatists...and.......Canadian rednecks?

Would be better if they just seperated religion from the government and create like two provinces, one for Palestine, and one for Israel, both sides can claim the entire country, both sides get equal power, and no religion in the government to cause a bloody war. Religion these days...

I pity your poor American delusions. Trees are essential for all life (ever heard of photosynthesis? =P), Native Americans restore culture and currently exist on their own so we never have a slow news day, French separatists are illogical but perfectly sane (and good politicians, as well as a fourth party) and our Canadian rednecks are about as civilized as the average American citizen.

Plus we don't care about our environment emissions yet only produce 2% of the world's total.

Oh, and the Yukon had gold too. Plus Alberta is the new Saudi Arabia or whatever of oil.

Back to Israel and Palestine.

They need tolerance, I read somewhere how a few years ago, the Israeli Army actually recruited a guy who told them that he was going to shoot Palestineans. What did he do? He killed about 3(not sure about the number) Palestineans. What happened next? Israel and Palestine both worked together to take him down, oh and btw he was also mentally instable, according to the doctors before he was recruited.

I could tell. =P I just felt like defending Canada, because we're...

Try doing that with a textbook infront of your keyboard that you have to read and also screws up your typing, while also doing homework. Reasoning is very suspectable to failing after that.

Huh?!?! Israel really doesn't need psychos for its Army. The mentally stable soldiers seem to be doing just fine killing all the palestinians....err, I mean terrorists!!!

It was a long time ago I read that, maybe 4+ years ago I read it. You can't just point at one side of the coin without turning to the other. Palestine commited some crimes too.

They need to turn war into a big game where no one dies. We should all have a big game of twister, winner's nation gets the land.

Miss Israel is part of the army. She was granted permission not to carry the gun because it bruised her legs.
