I don't hang out in chit chat too much except to check on the odd thread that catches my eye so I can't really comment on the situation but I do agree banning doesn't seem to have the same effect it used to, unfortunately I can't suggest a better system.
Also I'm all with intolerance as long as it's properly directed.
Maybe "Selective Memory Understanding the Recognized Fact I am Unwanted Here?" Also called SMURFIUH for short.
Quite to the contrary. I want him here.
I want him here too, he has a nice sense of humor, but the incessant bandodging in my opinion is pathetic, especially the number of times hes done it and the increasing speed in which his accounts are being banned coupled with the threats from the mods i think he should be at least pretending to be remorseful instead of getting progressively worse.
Actually... that might be the reason. In the past, the only bandodgers were people like AKofC (who is AKofC, and a unique person - who fooled me a few times. xD) and Lbosquet, who was still a productive member of this forum (and was banned for flaming - not being inappropriate). Okay, and Warf, who was just funny.
These days, we have people who are less well-liked and are banned for more serious offences than spam - Issalroc, Yummy Lingo, Yoko_Kyuubi... maybe Panda (although I unbanned him), and the (thankfully) now-missing KingDarr. These people are allowed to ban-dodge without being well-liked, and I think that's why people aren't taking bans seriously anymore.
1. I like Issalroc. Afterall, if you made me a sig, you can't be half bad. Also, the only thing I saw that you did that was bannable, was posting that disgusting tubgirlish porn. You already served a ban for that, so it is water under the bridge to me. I actually don't know why you were banned in the first place, and am only commenting on what those that keep banning you think about you.
2. I miss yummy_lingo.
3. If the bandodging continues, why not just disallow certain words in the coding, when making a name. Like "Lingo," or "roc," for example.
