Default Does it make my post smarter?

Using a verbiage of superfluos unnecesary accusations and pressumptions such as fallacy/fallacious --

Saying "I do believe my good sir that you are not of the quality of possesing an affinity for unseasoned person."

    instead of saying

    "Haha you idiot"

Superfluous, presumptions. And actually, it does make one sound more intelligent - I myself judge members by their posting vocabulary (and spelling/grammar usage, of course).

War is good for the economy of those that sit on the sidelines. War is good for the population. War is good for death.

The effect might be amplified if the syntax is improved first; the only prerequisite for a expanded vocabulary is a thesaurus, the sentence structure must be self generated.

As is grammar. And one's grasp of the English language. Any ordinary Joe with access to a thesaurus can appear to be intelligent. But look closely at the sentence structure and the grammar and then the truth will out.
