well umm I don't have any experience.
but the most important thing is probably seeing if enough people would be interested in it happening. perhaps get permission to show just a one off anime film in one of the classrooms after school or during lunchbreak using an overhead projector to see how many prospective members there might be.
if only one or 2 people show up then well...
btw I'm only half speaking from experience here. I was one of the 2 people who showed up when someone from my school tried this, I wasn't the person organising it or anything.

Sounds good to me. I'm starting an anime club at my school for the sole purpose of having power. Once I started hijacking my friends' clubs, I figured I should start my own. Anyway, lots of wussy younger students like anime. They = good for bossing around.
